Volvo XC60 Finance Calculator & Pricing
Looking for finance quotes on an XC60? No two dealer quotes are likely to match. Before you take any of them at face value, it's worth putting the number up against a genuine alternative.
That's exactly what Prefinance does. Tell us the specific XC60 you've found, and we'll line the dealer's own finance example up against the best rate our panel of brokers can currently offer for that car. Do that, and the average saving comes out at up to 30% versus dealer finance, a figure built from a large spread of deals rather than a promise tied to yours specifically, and the dealer you're looking at may already be competitive.

PCP versus HP on an XC60 — how do they differ?
Both count as hire purchase in the eyes of the law; you're not the registered owner until the last payment clears. What separates them is how the total cost is pulled together. HP takes the full price, deposit aside, and divides it evenly across the whole term, so you're paying toward ownership the entire way through; that's exactly why the HP row above comes in so much higher per month than its PCP twin on the same car. PCP instead holds back a portion of the price as a Guaranteed (Minimum) Future Value, only due if you choose to keep the car once the agreement ends, which is what keeps every other row's monthly figure lower by comparison.
Either way, Prefinance's instant comparison rests on one assumption: that the lender you're matched with would set the same GFV the dealer did. That's not guaranteed, so treat the monthly payment shown as a close approximation rather than a fixed number.
How does Prefinance calculate your savings figure?
Point us at the car — a registration number works, so does a make and model, or paste in a link from a dealer site or somewhere like Auto Trader, provided that listing shows a finance example. We take the dealer's own quote and set it against the strongest rate our broker panel has for that class of vehicle. That comparison assumes you'd land the panel's best rate, which comes down to your own credit standing, and that the dealer selling the car is FCA authorised. Every comparison you run stays saved to your account, so there's no need to redo one later.
Representative APR is the rate at least 51 in every 100 customers a lender approves actually receive, or better, a regulatory yardstick rather than a headline number chosen to look good. Our panel of brokers has proven competitive on XC60s, going by the real quotes above. What you'd personally save comes down to your own circumstances, and the car you choose. Commission plays a part as well: both dealers and brokers get paid for putting finance together, which is a genuine reason two near-identical XC60s can carry different rates at different dealers, and that gap is largely what our comparison brings into the open.
What actually shifts the rate you're offered?
Credit score does most of the heavy lifting, but deposit size, term length and trim all move the number too, as the table shows — the two Black Edition rows make that obvious, with an extra £1,285 of deposit trimming over £30 off the monthly payment on an identical car. Stretch the term out and the monthly cost usually falls, though the total interest paid climbs.
Worth checking before you apply
Make sure the deposit and mileage in your comparison match what the dealer's actually quoting — the deposit's editable, but get anything else wrong and the result skews.
If you're comparing PCP against HP on the same car, look at both the monthly figure and whether you actually want to own the car outright at the end — the gap can be substantial, as the table shows.
Ask what happens to your monthly payment if your matched lender's GFV comes in different from the dealer's — don't take it for granted that it'll match exactly.
Read the broker's full representative example before signing anything — it holds the real figures for your deal, not the illustrative ones shown here.
None of this tells you upfront whether the dealer's XC60 quote in front of you is already a fair one; sometimes it is. Running the comparison on your specific car is the only way to know for certain where you stand against the panel.
